Treasurer’s Report:
Current financial status was discussed.
After some
discussion on Critical Area process, the Board reviewed and approved the Cullen
CA THP by a vote of 5-0. Tom will
forward this information to Cecil County Planning and Zoning.
Cecil Big Tree Program Update:

Update on
Arboretum and Grove Point GS Camp Projects:
Arboretum

The
6 tree ID signs have been installed and John has submitted the Final grant
report to MUCFC with Dori’s photos.
The
Plum Creek Watershed sign arrived and the invoice was paid. It should be installed soon and John will
handle the Final Grant report to MUCFC.
Caye Ciabotti picked up the American Chestnut that will be planted at the Arboretum. John has potted the sapling and it will be
planted soon. John requested the Board
cover funding over the $35 donation for the planting. The Board agreed. Bryan Lightner has agreed
to dig the planting hole and help install the plant.

can use assistance at the Arboretum maintaining the trees and planting spaces.
GS Camp
John reported that some trees need to be ID’d once the leaves come out. This will be handled in May.
Website Update:
Ron made changes to the website on the recent changes to the management of the State Big Tree Program.
NRCC Update:
So far there are 25 applications. Possibly two students from
It was reported that the St. Mary Anne’s Garden Show went very well. The display was very popular. All of the White Pine seedlings were given away. Gabrielle, Ron, Dori, Kathie and Bryan Lightner spent a lot of hours at the display on Thursday evening, Friday and Saturday.
New Business:
Michael reported
that there is a lot of fungal/bacterial disease activity now.
All members have filed
their Ethics Forms.
