by Tom Frederick. Those members present discussed financial status.
Tom went over the
CY 2018 accomplishments/expenditures report.
The Board gave some suggestions.
NRCC Update:
The student the Board
interviewed last month was accepted and received a letter from Luther Weigle at
No new
applications have been received statewide.
Update on Big Tree Program:
The Board went
over some tree locations on the local website that were
John went over
some recent developments and the annual statewide report. He also asked for updates for progress on
contacting 2019 remeasurements in
John presented
some pictures of his visit to southern MD and the eastern shore.
Kathie gave John
some days that she can measure trees in the County.
Website Update:
Ron entered updates of recent local Big Tree measurements. Last month’s minutes were also entered.
New Business:
Ron has about a
dozen germinated acorns - “grandchildren” of the Wye
Oak in his basement.
John showed the
Board some pictures his father had taken of Black Hill while he lived there in
1949.
